Welcome to the Hawaii Pacific University TruCost℠ College Pricing Estimator.
The Hawaii Pacific University TruCost℠ College Pricing Estimator has been developed to provide you
with a preliminary estimate of federal, state and institutional grant aid eligibility. This
planning tool will help you determine estimated true cost to attend Hawaii Pacific University after
adjusting for these preliminary grant award estimates.
By providing us with some basic information, the TruCost℠ Estimator will provide you
with estimates of: Total Cost of Attendance, Total Grant Aid, True Cost of Attendance, and
preliminary loan eligibility. Results are based on 2012-13
Cost of Attendance figures and student aid eligibility requirements.
EFC Determination Method
We will need to determine your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) to provide the most accurate estimate of aid
for you at this time. One of the two methods can be used to determine this value. You will be able to select your method
in the financial portion of this survey.
Method 1: Enter Known EFC
Method 2: Provide Basic Information to Determine Estimated EFC
Method 3: Provide Detailed Information to Determine more accurate EFC
